Throughout my life, my mindset has been my greatest strength. I’ve always believed that there are no boundaries to what you can achieve with a positive mindset not limited by self-doubt or fear.
The true power of my mindset became especially clear in 1993 when I faced one of the toughest moments of my life. Adam and I had just married, and our daughter, Bianca, was a newborn when I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. It felt like everything was crashing down just as my life was taking off. But instead of letting fear consume me, surviving cancer fueled my determination to live fully and without hesitation. That experience deepened my sense of purpose and gave me clarity—I needed to make the most of my time and devote myself to my family, community, and the things that truly brought
me joy.
Real estate became the foundation for that. When I first started my career, I didn’t know how far it would take me. I embraced every opportunity and found true fulfillment in helping people transition to the next chapter in their lives. The meaningful connections I made through real estate opened the door to many other passions and endeavors.
In 2009, Adam and I, and our close friends, took a huge leap and started a brokerage, Highland Partners, right in the midst of the market crash. Starting a brokerage during such an uncertain time might have seemed risky to some, but I’ve always believed that challenges are opportunities waiting to be seized. We embraced the possibility of success rather than focusing on potential failure, and Highland Partners grew to become one of the most successful firms in our area. Later, we transitioned to Corcoran Icon Properties, expanding our reach and creating the DiMaggio Betta Group.
My deep roots in the community have given me the connections and resources to give back in meaningful ways. I’ve been actively involved with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, supporting their fundraising efforts for years. I’ve also organized events for various charities, including Voices for Freedom, a cause dedicated to ending generational slavery in India through education. Additionally, I’ve supported local organizations focused on improving lives within our community. If you want to make a difference, you’ll find a way to do it.
That same belief system has fueled my creativity. When I became an empty nester, it was an emotional transition, but rather than dwelling on the chapter that was closing, I saw it as the perfect time to start a new one—literally! I wrote my first book, Contained Beauty, a coffee table book filled with thoughtful reflections and photography. That project ignited my creative passion, leading me to write several more books, including The Art of Real Estate; Real Estate Rules; and Beauty at Any Age, Because Age is Just an Attitude.
From there, I launched my podcast, Mastering the Art of Real Estate, where I interview agents from around the world, connecting with them and learning from their experiences. I’ve also become a mentor for countless young agents and interns, many of whom are friends of our son, Chase. I love encouraging them to push beyond their limits and embrace authenticity. Now, Chase has followed in our footsteps, starting his own real estate career, continuing our legacy as generational REALTORS® serving generations.
In our free time, Adam and I love to travel, ski, and play bocce ball and pickleball. Even on vacation, we enjoy touring local open homes and connecting with new agents. Recently, I’ve taken up running with the plan of running a half marathon in 2024, but instead completed my first Marathon!
I’ve always believed that there are no limits to what I can accomplish, and that mindset continues to guide me. Whether it’s through real estate, community service, or creative projects, there is always something new inspiring me, and I look forward to whatever comes next!
Having grown up in this community, raised my family here, and watched it evolve, I bring a deep understanding of the schools, neighborhoods, and the people who make this area special. These connections allow me to offer valuable insights to my clients, no matter where they are in life. As a generational REALTOR®, I help clients navigate life transitions—whether they’re upsizing to meet the needs of a growing family or downsizing after decades in the same home. I’m a certified Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) providing knowledgeable guidance to seniors and their families, helping them explore housing options that support their lifestyle goals, whether that’s relocating, downsizing, or transitioning to a retirement community. I provide a clear, step-by-step approach that covers everything from staging and preparing homes for sale to decluttering and making repairs or improvements, ensuring you have full support and know exactly what to expect at every stage of the process.
At the heart of my business is a genuine desire to help others, and that mindset naturally grows my relationships and referrals. I focus on fostering authentic connections and treating everyone I work with like VIPs. For me, luxury isn’t a price point—it’s about providing exceptional service and ensuring that each client feels cared for throughout their real estate journey.
Sincerely,
